ASI, family hoped against hope for help
ISLAMABAD: An associate sub-monitor (ASI) of the capital police, his four youngsters, a sister, niece and nephew were among the people who passed on subsequent to being caught in snow on a street in Kuldana close to Murree.
"We are stuck on street and the entryways of the vehicle are not opening. Presently we are turning on the warmer and resting till help comes to," Kohsar Police Station House Officer (SHO) Shabbir Tanoli cited ASI Naveed Iqbal as saying in his last call which he made at 4am on Saturday.

Naveed Iqbal, 51, a local of Talagang, joined the police in 1992 as a constable. His better half, three girls and two children were residing in their town while he resided with his more youthful sibling Asif — a police officer positioned in the security division — at a house in G-6.
The ASI's better half and child had not went with them to Murree and were in their town.
